Welcome to Glanyrafon.

A stylish and comfortable thatched holiday cottage in Ceredigion. A weathered lime-washed cottage built of stone, clay and thatch. Sensitively Restored to offer modern comforts, yet preserving vernacular details, timeworn beams and stones worn smooth by the passage of time. The spacious terraced garden is a joy to explore with a small river and ancient bridge forming the garden boundaries. The cottage has a master king sized double downstairs and a twin room upstairs. We welcome a well-behaved dog too.

A short walk through woods to the Wales Coast Path and the sea, near to the famously unspoilt beaches of Ceredigion (Llangrannog, Penbryn, Aberporth, Tresaith) and the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast. Near to picture postcard pastel-painted seaside towns such as Aberaeron & New Quay - Real ‘Dylan Thomas country’!

Escape to the tranquility of West Wales.

Glanyrafon is located in a 'hidden' valley, near an unpolluted sea, and bays where dolphins and seals swim. Next to a babbling brook which flows over a medieval ford, crossed by a weathered stone bridge. Clean air, and skies where red kites and buzzards soar.  A true retreat at all times of the year - From lazy summer evenings in the garden and on the beach, to Winter’s spectacular coastal light and atmosphere. The quiet, rural West coast of Wales is a haven for sky-watchers and a designated ‘Dark Sky’ area.

A retreat, a place to unwind, to contemplate. A base for unspoilt beaches, great restaurants, and a historical landscape, yet easily accessible by road. An ideal base for walking, for beach activities, for nature and wildlife or just for chilling out and re-charging your batteries!
